We have started a new endeavor with our morning announcements - Wake Up West has gone live this week, and we are amazed at the hard work and dedication of these students!  The live video feed is linked on our website - check it out under the student resources tab!

iPads have officially been out to students for almost three weeks now!  We are still in the process of learning how to manage our own devices, and here are some tips to being successfully "un-distracted" during the school day!
If you want to avoid an Airdrop distraction, follow these steps: double-click the home-screen button to bring up your control center.  Airdrop is the icon in the red square.  Once you tap on that icon, the following options will appear: "Receiving Off", "Contacts Only", and "Everyone".  Tap on "Receiving Off" and you will no longer receive any Airdrop notifications!

Happy Monday!  We've been learning about the digital resources WMS has to offer all students and staff!  Did you know...you can have two books checked out from the library, 3 ebooks or audiobooks from Overdrive, and unlimited checkouts from Flipster??  We've added three new subscriptions to our collection that are highlighted in the picture: The Week, Eating Well, and Teen Vogue.  Check them out!

If you are looking to request apps, no email is needed this year!  All you have to do is fill out the "App Request" Google Form that can be found on your iPad.  Please see the picture below (the icon is circled in red) to know what it will look like!
